Professional dream
Date of news/blog: 25th September 2023Olivia Jones is hoping the experience she is gaining as a carer at Foxhunters will ultimately help her to realise her professional dream – not that she is any rush of course!
Olivia joined the home two years ago, following in the footsteps of her mum who also works in care, as Nurse.
She would one day like to become a Paramedic but thought it was important to get some hands-on experience that she hopes will serve her well in the future.
“I have a plan of action in regard to my career, but I am very happy here at Foxhunters, so I am in no rush,” says Olivia.
“I love working with elderly people and I have got to know the ladies and gentlemen really well and am happy to do anything for them,
“I love sitting down with them and hearing their life stories and all about what they did when they were younger.
“It’s a great environment to work in and I would recommend it to anyone.”
When she is not working, Olivia enjoys spending time on days out with her family and friends.
