An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist / Assistant Administrator to support the administrative team at Pine Martin Grange, in Sandford Wareham.
Your main job role will be to:
To assist our Ladies & Gentleman and our visitors in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
To provide efficient, helpful, informative and supportive reception and administration services to our Ladies & Gentleman and our visitors and staff.
To provide assistance to the Administrator/Admin Assistant.
To manage the telephone system within the home and to prioritise and organize meetings and diary management.
To develop and maintain good and effective working relationships both within the home and externally, in order to ensure communication and liaison between the different areas are effective and information received is in a timely manner.
The hours throughout the week are flexible to cover the needs of the home. This role will also incorporate a contribution to every other weekend working.
All training and support will be provided for this role
All our teams are required to have the Covid 19 vaccination.
Part-time hours: 12 - 36 per week

Pine Martin Grange are looking for an exceptional person to assist in the management of our care and nursing home in Wareham. We support Ladies and Gentlemen with a mixture of nursing, residential and dementia care needs. Duties will include:
• Leading and supervising a large staff team to deliver the highest standards of care
• Playing an important part of the onsite clinical and management team
• Working with the local community, GP's and professionals to deliver care that truly enables our ladies and gents to continue to lead as full a life as possible.
• Helping to manage the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of our home, maintaining high levels of occupancy
• Complying with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times
• NMC registration as a Nurse
• Experience of working as a Deputy Manager in a care/nursing home
• Extensive experience of working in a care/nursing home
• Experience in managing a large staff team

POST: Assistant Chef
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head Chef
JOB PURPOSE: To assist the head chef to provide a comprehensive and quality catering service for all residents and guests to the care home.
To support the head chef in controlling and directing food preparation and presentation processes. To assist in the construction of menus that are varied, based on a 4-week planning cycle and that meet the differing nutritional requirements of residents and budgetary requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, in line with accepted best practice and within the financial plans agreed.
To be passionate, caring, motivated and dedicated.
To prepare, cook and present meals for our Ladies & Gentleman, employees and visitors.
To assist in devising and maintaining seasonal cyclical menus to provide choice for our Ladies and Gentlemen within an agreed budget.
To ensure dietary needs and preferences of residents are met. To interact with residents and their families in order to achieve this.
To ensure that proper standards of cleanliness are maintained, to exercise due diligence regarding food safety and to ensure that hygiene and food handling regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
To ensure adequate and safe storage of all kitchen provisions and equipment.
To comply with the requirements of HACCP and ensure that all daily, weekly and monthly records are kept as required. To have knowledge of the Food Safety Manual and adhere accordingly.
To comply with the Dormy Care Communities Kitchen cleaning Schedule.
To promptly report all mechanical defects and hazards to the Head Chef
Support the implementation, orientation and induction of new employees.
Be responsible for developing own skills and knowledge and contribute to the development of others.
Attend all statutory and mandatory training sessions, to comply with professional/legislative requirements.
