International Women’s Day
Date of news/blog: 10th March 2023International Women’s Day saw us celebrating the women we admire most. We spoke about women who had left a mark on history, with a photo quiz including famous women in politics , science and other professions .
We also chatted about family members who we admired; Eileen spoke about both grandmothers who she described as beautiful, strong independent women who looked after others.
Frances spoke of her experience of being one of the first 15 women to enter into Herefordshire Church – they were nicknamed ‘The Pioneers’.
