Jane Austen’s House
The most treasured Austen site in the world, this exhibition and museum tells the story of Jane Austen’s life, where she lived and wrote. Situated in the village of Chawton, this is a fantastic place to visit.
Hindhead common & Devils Punch Bowl
This beautiful National Trust site is on our home’s doorstep and offers fabulous views of the Surrey Hills. A great place to explore the stunning countryside and woodland trails with family and friends. There is even a café for delicious homemade cake!
Old Thorns Golf Course
For those who enjoy a round of golf, nestling in the Hampshire countryside is this spacious course. Officially opened in 1982 by Jack Nicklaus, Seve Ballesteros, Isao Aoki and Bill Rogers. A round at Old Thorns will see you walking in the footsteps of the game’s greatest players
Hollycombe Steam Farm
On our doorstep here in Liphook, Britain’s largest collection of working steam! A chance to take a journey to the sandstone quarry which offers views across the South Downs and Sussex Weald. The miniature railway also proves fun for all the family as it explores the beautiful gardens!
Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight
With access straight on to the A3, day trips are easy down to the coast. With great shopping and sightseeing in abundance in Portsmouth, from castles to cannons, the Isle of Wight is a great place to reminisce about those childhood holidays.
