Brain games

Date of news/blog: 27th January 2026

Brain games are important regardless of your age but they become even more important when you get in the later stages of life and that’s why they form a key part of the activity programme at Brockington House. One of the newer ones we have introduced is Bananagrams. It’s a game which involves arranging letter tiles into individual, intersecting word grids, similar to a crossword so it requires a great deal of thought and concentration. It gets its name because the first person to use all the letters shouts ‘bananas’ to win.
